For more than two decades, my work has centered on people—understanding what shapes them, how they relate to others, and what happens when life, relationships, or organizations become complicated.

That work has taken me through clinical counseling, individual coaching, organizational leadership, and international community development. Each has given me a different perspective on the people and systems I work with today.

Experience & Background

Clinical Counseling

My clinical training has given me a deeper framework for understanding the psychological, emotional, and relational patterns that shape our lives.

My experience includes:

  • Clinical work with adolescents and adults in educational, community, and university settings

  • Assessment, treatment planning, and individual counseling

  • Working with concerns involving anxiety, trauma, relationships, emotional regulation, and life transitions

  • Integrating psychodynamic, experiential, relational, and evidence-based approaches to counseling

Coaching & Intensive Facilitation

For approximately eight years before entering clinical counseling, I worked directly with individuals seeking greater self-understanding, emotional health, and meaningful change.

My experience includes:

  • Providing individual coaching to leaders, professionals, and adults across the country

  • Facilitating more than 30 multi-day intensives focused on emotional health, recovery, relationships, and personal development

  • Working with individuals navigating recovery, difficult relationships, personal transitions, and longstanding behavioral patterns

  • Leading individual and group experiences designed to encourage reflection, personal responsibility, and lasting change

Organizational Leadership & Consulting

I’ve spent more than 20 years helping lead, develop, and strengthen organizations, including serving in senior leadership roles and helping establish new initiatives.

My experience includes:

  • Organizational development, strategic planning, and leadership transitions

  • Guiding organizations through periods of conflict, instability, and significant change

  • Developing leaders, building teams, and strengthening organizational culture

  • Consulting on emotional intelligence, relational dynamics, and organizational health

  • Establishing programs, developing leadership structures, and helping organizations grow

International & Cross-Cultural Experience

My work has taken me to more than 25 different countries, including extended periods living and working in India, Switzerland, Hungary, post-war Kosovo, Morocco, and Jordan.

My experience includes:

  • Working alongside international organizations and community leaders

  • Developing partnerships and coordinating community initiatives

  • Leading teams and facilitating cross-cultural collaboration

  • Working across different cultural, social, and organizational environments

These experiences have shaped my understanding of how culture, community, and the systems we belong to influence the way we see ourselves and others.
